Flying to Pisa

Pisa International, also named Galileo Galilei Airport (PSA) is an airport located in Pisa, Italy. It is the main airport in Tuscany. And the most convenient airport for accessing the venue. You can fly directly into Pisa, followed by a short train ride or ride share into Central Pisa. Flying into Pisa may be more convenient, but can be a little more costly. From the Pisa Airport (Pisa Fermata Aeroporto Station) take the train to Central Pisa (Pisa Centrale Station). From there you will take a taxi to your lodging. It is an estimated 17 minute drive from Pisa International Airport to Villa Ravano.

Flying to Rome

Fly into Rome Airport, also named Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport (FCO). If you have time to spare, we recommend guests spend a day in the historic city. You can then travel to Pisa (Pisa Central Station) via train. The departure times and total travel times can vary from 2.5 hours to 4.5 hours depending on the route taken. You can choose between direct or connecting rides. These are high-speed trains, so kick you feet up and relax in luxury. Useful information: The Rome train terminal can be quite busy, plan accordingly to arrive at the train station early.

Flying to Milan

Fly into Milan Airport, also known as Malpensa Airport (MXP) is the most afforable airport to travel into. If you have time, We recommend taking the opportunity to explore Milan, a city renowned for its fashion, art, and history. After your visit, you can catch a train to Pisa (Pisa Centrale Station), with journey times typically ranging from 2.5 to 5 hours depending on your chosen route. You’ll have options for direct or connecting trains, all of which are high-speed services ensuring a comfortable and swift journey.

Useful information: Milan’s Malpensa Airport is a busy international hub, so it's advisable to allow extra time for check-in and security procedures. While smaller than other major Italian airports, FLR provides easy access to Florence’s stunning architecture, world-famous art, and rich history. If you have time, I recommend taking the opportunity to explore Florence before continuing your journey.

To reach Pisa (Pisa Centrale Station) from Florence, you can take a train with journey times typically ranging from 1 to 1.5 hours. There are frequent services between Florence’s main train station, Santa Maria Novella (SMN), and Pisa, making it a quick and efficient travel option. Useful information: Florence Airport is compact, so check-in and security are usually efficient. However, public transportation options to the city center are limited, so consider taking a taxi or the T2 tram line, which connects the airport to Florence’s city center in about 20 minutes.
